As we move through #SchoolLibraryMonth I want to shout out the incredible work happening in libraries locally @chccs + in communities near & far. School librarians are invaluable and every child deserves to have access to a inclusive library that will nurture their curiosity.
Not only do I have the privilege of being the Superintendent of THE BEST school district @chccs ... I also get to learn from and celebrate the North Carolina 2021 Teacher of the Year, Eugenia Floyd from @ScroggsFrogs 🎉
I don’t know where you work, but my assistant principal is the best in the business and Northside is a better place because she’s there! Happy National Assistant Principals Week!
It is National Library Week and #NavigatorNation wants to shout out our amazing Library Goddess @KatColeReads AND our Tech Guru @CathMus. What you bring to our school community is invaluable. This week and ever week we celebrate you! @NESlibrary#NationalLibraryWeek@chccs
By highlighting Arab American culture and contributions we can create a more inclusive classroom. This article featured by @learnforjustice shares how we can do that. https://t.co/TIZb9ZFLKm
This is a gratitude tweet for our wonderful @NorthsideES community. Thank you #NorthsidePTA for always supporting our teachers and staff. Every time I pull into park I smile. @CSharplessNES @APJonesNES
The Assistant Principal is the glue of a school community! A special shout out to my wonderful partner in education @SChi0806 It’s your week! I’m grateful to work alongside you each day! #APWeek21@apexescougars@wcpss@SWAWCPSS
I am SO PROUD of our two 5th grade Navigators. They have worked so hard over this past year to develop this podcast. This year has been hard and yet, this JOY! I look forward to listening and sharing more moments of joy from our @NorthsideES community. #NorthsidePOD#MomentsOfJoy
April 2nd marks World Autism Awareness Day. In our work to make our spaces more inclusive, we must move beyond awareness to acceptance. Check out this thread from @autisticats for a list of resources and give them a follow. #AutismAcceptanceMonth
