my work shows people who take on extraordinary challenges and reveals beauty that hides in plain sight. mostly through film, i do it with great care and a love for honest collaboration. let’s talk if you want to work together.
a whole lot of @SeymourChwast happening in this animation by arthur sevestre for l'Imperatrice! love the many crowd shots - and the story too. https://t.co/T23xk3ZpJW
not all paradigms can be flattened to oppressor vs. oppressed. it strikes me how many conveniently overlook the continued existence of anti-semitism. any apparent absence of it doesn’t mean it’s gone while the consequences of forgetting are very, very real. choose slogans wisely.
i only subscribed to @latimes because of @cmonstah and always looked forward to the weekly "Essential Arts" - essential reading indeed. selfishly, i'm so sorry to see you go. best of luck writing about the chile of your childhood (and today). see you at https://t.co/owpTNAsvEG

tonight, i’m doing a bit of spoken word in long beach, california. part of “speak.easy.” still cutting my teeth, learning how to do this live, but if you’re in the area, hit me up for details. https://t.co/WnOsJY04J3

to understand #eurovision in 2023, one could extract lessons from “everything everywhere all at once.” there's a delirious schizoid-silliness at its center which can be read as a subversively liberating form of resilience in response to the socio-political darkness of our times.
