What a beautiful venue to watch a modern reworking of ‘Robin Hood’ with our @cslcardiff year 7s! The inventive staging, the music and the message made for a wonderful evening at @OpenAirTheatre in Regent’s Park!

As delegates for Japan, they are debating resolutions on carbon mitigation, financing of adaptation, plastics, food waste and compensation for damage and loss with students from around the globe.

This will take place in person in the new year and will be an even greater challenge for our Year 10 speakers. We are sure they will prepare carefully over the holiday and wish them good luck for round 2! (4/4)

On Tuesday evening two @cslcardiff teams battled against tough opposition from Cardiff Sixth Form and Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Edern in the first round of the @theESU Public Speaking competition. (1/4)

Congratulations to Sara K, Anshul S and Chris F who performed very well and learnt a lot from the experience. After a long wait while the judges deliberated, Vihaan J, Joseph P and Yuxuan W heard the news we had all been waiting for: they were through to the next round! (3/4)

The teams spoke on the topics of whether torture could ever be justified and if innocence until proven guilty is a myth. The enthusiasm and hard work of the CSL students involved was exceptional, but what was even more admirable was their absolute support of each other. (2/4)
