Don't know if this helps - its seems to be a common error based on the BBC’s cut down version of C.S. Lewis’ argument during a 10 minute broadcast - but the original argument was not a trilemma but a pentalemma: “Divine, deluded or demonic” included another two non-Christian less plausable hypotheses, “Deified by Jewish followers" or "Dramatic literature/legend”. This is found in many other places but try the short essay: 'What Are We To Make Of Jesus Christ?'
Happy V-E Day! In celebration, here is a doodle of C.S. Lewis' 1940 address to the Oxford University Pacifist Society, whose debating union had famously pledged that they "would not fight for King and Country" in 1933.
Part 2 looks at Human and Divine Authority on the issue of fighting wars, and testing the possibility of a warping passion that does not want to see the truth.

Psychoanalysis was introduced to the United States by Sigmund Freud in 1909. As Freud arrived by ship, he glimpsed the Statue of Liberty and said to Jung, ‘They don’t realise [in psychoanalysis] we’re bringing them the plague.’ One of the bad results of psychology was the promotion of Freud's own atheist, philosophic belief of moral subjectivism - the false belief that morality and conscience is only psychological, to be altered at will. Lewis here discusses the effects this philosophy had, which led to the world’s increased receptivity to Communism and Nazism. Now in the following new doodle:

If you hold a philosophy that excludes the supernatural, you can never come to reports of the miraculous with an open mind. This is an illustration of the introductory chapter of C.S. Lewis’ book called ‘Miracles’:

We must, on pain of idiocy, deny from the very outset the idea that looking AT is intrinsically truer or better than looking ALONG. One must look both ALONG and AT everything. The period of scientific or ‘expert’ intimidation has got to end. https://t.co/XbQipKjJGc
C.S. Lewis sets out the reasons why he believes in democracy. Believing in God, that is 'hierarchy' or ‘inequality within’, is the foundation stone of 'equality without' – legal and political equality. Now presented in doodle form. https://t.co/B9ywIG0EYj
In this foundational doodle, Lewis shows that the conscience is as old as Adam and Eve. It is not an invention of civilisation or of great human teachers, but has always been there, witnessing away in the human soul. https://t.co/KZbP8mWFhc
In this doodle, C.S. Lewis gives us his eulogy of the great myth or fairy tale of cosmic evolution (the rival to the Creation account in Genesis 1 where God, not time, is the most important factor), & then damns evolution with high praise: https://t.co/z2Wrb6uNj9
In an atheistic society that values work and 'social action', and despises prayer to God, C.S. Lewis introduces us to a new take on an old maxim – 'prayer IS work' ('Prayer is powerful action'). Now for the 1st time illustrated in doodle form: https://t.co/8Vh852q2tx
Have you ever noticed that the fear of danger and the fear of a spirit feel quite different? A doodle from the introductory chapter of 'The Problem of Pain'. https://t.co/wWJwRfsB3Y
