@sofwriter_ oh no someone out there is doing something that otherwise has no impact on my life or anyone else’s but everyone doesn’t find it normal. call the police
the actors all seem normal and interesting with full active lives. ofc ive got nothing against them. the fans seem like obsessed weirdos with nothing but this to keep them going.
still funny to me the way everyone was like that one guy is so much better than outer banks because he was in a luca movie and ofc his ass is still on there. yall are so lame abt these basic whites
dont forget the inherent need to check in and screenshot what each the other side are doing/saying. i dont even think they like the actors they just like comparing them and their teams and personal lives to dunk on the other. all while having no life of their own.
the problem with the hr fandom is that probably 80% of it is made up of people who disparage the source material and don’t care for the story the show or the characters they’re just obsessed with the actors to a parasocial degree
i adore connor independent of hudson but his fandom would accept legitimate racists as long as they hate hudson… so stuck with ppl who think Hudson should be protected from his own friends, gf, cast and believe hes experienced more racism then anyone else alive. sigh.
no shade this is why a lot of you should really differentiate your feelings towards one camp of fans being loud and annoying and having personal beef with you and another casually throwing out every phobia and ism in the book whenever it suits them #noshadethough
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II says the optics of Marvel cancelling Black-led projects like ‘BLADE’ and ‘WONDER MAN’ is obvious.
“It should be a priority to change that narrative and to do what it takes to responsibly change that narrative with quality stories, with quality resources.”

@gemijane its so funny because nobody was calling the acting bad until they decided they didn’t like him. and even after that you don’t really see examples of his “bad” acting like you do w other actors in other shows. mostly the stilted dialogue which he pulls off surprisingly well.
