My post from elsewhere earlier today:
The most infuriating thing, by far, that I have seen online is that video last month of that lady being attacked and held down onto tthe sidewalk up in Trieste by some animal from the continent of Africa.
The U.S. tax payer paid good money in the early 1990s for we sailors and Marines to spend a good deal of time up in Trieste. Not one chance that incident would fly back then.
The lady was cute back in the day, but she's as useless as the rest of those Europeans these days.
@_BrotherGreg_@PubWanghaf Front Porch Facebook Group knows everything you need to know about re-webbing that chair.
We're not trying to waste money here.
Nothing to do with anything, but --
There exists an oilfield production company down in Texas that will name the wells along a particular theme. This is EOG.
There is a piece of Texas where the theme is old Rock bands.
A group of oil wells will have a tank battery associated with it, e.g. all the Emerson wells will have a Emerson tank battery associated with it.
Sometimes there will be two tank batteries side-by-side. They had a battery that I think was Emerson and Palmer side by side. I'd go there and think that I'd give anything if they'd do three batteries side by side.
@rommie_w@maybedanielleee@major_moostache The big happenings look like big happenings, except they're not.
I might see a post from Secretary Duffy that reads something like "We removed 12,000 illegal drivers off the roads in Ohio over the weekend".
Sounds like a lot, but for how many are out there, 12k is NOT a lot.
@Takeyerswing@staplegunkid@mattbramanti I guess.
Laredo is Mile 0.
Von Ormy is mile 140. San Antonio is just a couple miles up the way.
157 to city center is probably about right.
@inka_dinka@WestinWalker@douglassmackey That vehicle pictured has to be towed. This means the CDL driver has to have a urinalysis ASAP. ASAP means right now, right now.
You're damn-sure right.
@pilartx@WestinWalker@SecDuffy He's not going to do anything.
He'll post now and again with some crap about the .001% of these people he got off the road in Indiana or Ohio, or some-such.
@brandnewarcady@WestinWalker Many, many years ago, I was working so I'd drive through Driscoll TX twice a day.
No insurance or improper insurance there? They'd impound your vehicle 100% of the time.
A locale misses an opportunity when they give up those towing and impound storage fees. Huge money missed.
@rm041923@WestinWalker@SecDuffy He just shows up now and again with some random post about how many of these people they've gotten off the road. I think I may have seen something like 12,000 off Ohio roads or some-such earlier today.
I just ignore Sec Duffy and whoever the Secretary of the VA is.
@MikeMass2020@jarvis_best I love hoops.
One thing that I honestly hate is that gold has become too expensive for the Latinas to wear real gold hoops.
When I was a kid, all the Latinas (except Linda Ronstadt) wore gold something-or-other. Linda wore those big silver hoops.
@MrSockPuppet@BradRTorgersen@jarvis_best I laugh when I read the responses from those who take life so seriously that they argue that since her hair touches her shoulders, it's not a "bob".
@SATXDAR@guypbenson She will pass one day, and they'll be glad they did this.
Not "they", I guess, because she will have passed.
Keep EVERYTHING out of probate.
