It’s been a pleasure and honor to work alongside @wspmutualaid in helping feed the community all of these years. Shout out to @NY1 for sharing my story.
My mama said that she was really proud of me today 🥹
@MissSassbox My pup Taco would let me hold him like this sometimes. I was lucky to have him let go and pass away in my arms like this too. These days I can close my eyes and still feel his head on my shoulders. That feeling never leaves you tbh. Kinda like a phantom limb.
My dog, Pondy died in my arms on Xmas 2 yrs ago.I performed CPR on him on the way to the hospital, but they were unable to save him. He had the cutest underbite and howl and loved it when I cradled him. Holidays hurt a lot more than I remembered, and I think this might be why.
@mychal3ts Sooooo I’m not really sure of the chances of this ever reaching you, but hi! I’m a black female tattoo artist and I’d be really stoked to be a part of your book sleeve. 🥰
@HartDismas@DameScorpio So true. Before he died in my arms I thanked him for helping me learn how to love him and people better. I thanked him for our adventures, for protecting me. And I thanked him for loving me more than I could ever imagine. 11 years was not enough time, but I’m forever grateful
@DameScorpio Here’s another sweet photo of him before being in the snow pile. I was really stoked on catching the before shot of him in mid air 😂 He really was my favorite thing in the whole world 🥹
@DameScorpio One of my fav photos of my dog, Taco. He died in September of last year and it’ll be my second Xmas without him. The holidays are tough and lonely now but I’m grateful for pics like these to still make me smile. Love you forever, my lil sweet 🥹
