Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Giriraj Singh visited the ZOZIYA Silk showroom in Aizawl and reviewed a wide range of silk and textile products showcasing the rich handloom heritage of Mizoram. The products displayed carried the Silk Mark label, assuring purity and authenticity of silk. And, interacted with the private silk entrepreneur behind the initiative, who is also a sericulture farmer and weaver, a recipient of two National Awards, her inspiring journey reflects the growing strength of women-led entrepreneurship, traditional craftsmanship and sustainable silk development in Mizoram. The Hon’ble Minister interacted with young entrepreneurs and appreciated their efforts in promoting innovation, traditional weaving and sustainable silk-based livelihoods.
