"In #Odisha, elephants are more than just animal. They are part of our identity, our history and our spirituality. Our temple features their images. Our festivals such as the ‘Hati Besha’ and ‘Gaja Uddharana Besha’ of Lord Jagannath, highlight their importance in our culture." : Hon’ble CM Shri @MohanMOdisha
"In Habitat Management, #Odisha is among the first to map traditional elephant corridors. We are restoring degraded forests, planting more fodder, and creating water bodies to reduce encounters between elephants and people. Our state is now home to more than 2,000 elephants." : Hon’ble CM Shri @MohanMOdisha
