Some of the resolutions at the meeting were among others, that the private sector should be involved in the implementation of the six months maternity leave, more efforts should be channeled to prevent children coming down with Malnutrition.
Wednesday March 12th, 2025, @CS_SUNN with support from @UNICEF hosted a Breakfast Meeting with Key stakeholders and Political Office Holders in Benue State @benuestategovt on the Adoption of Child Nutrition Fund (CNF) and the implementation of the Six Month Paid Maternity Leave.
Jointly submitting a Memo to the State Executive Council for consideration and ensure that the six months maternity leave with full pay is implemented this year.
On the CNF, the DG Planning Commission assured that with the State Nutrition Policy in Place, Funds will be made
