*trying to get my daughter back to sleep after she woke up in the middle of the night last night* Once she finally falls asleep, I attempt to transfer her back to the crib which fails. She stands up says “Up. All done”Girl we aren’t done sleeping it’s 4am. Just wanted her cuddles
The “newborn scrunch” was cute but the “toddler slump” where she melts into my body and hugs me is something else. It makes my heart so happy every time, some of the best cuddles ever.
Babies teeth typically start coming in around six months. But here’s my kid who has had teeth since two months and already has almost 7 teeth. The teeth that she has coming in now typically doesn’t show up until 10 months. We’re going through it.
Why did no one warn me that when your child starts rolling/crawling that changing their clothes would be like you’re trying to wrestle an alligator!?! This little girl will not sit still for the life of her and I’m struggling
The song somewhere over the rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole is the only thing these days that will get Melanie to fall asleep. If you need me, I’ll be singing it on repeat until I lose my voice
My daughter let out a huge yawn (clearly exhausted) and I’m putting her down for a nap, whispering “go to sleep” and she widens her eyes and giggles at me. Who knew nap time was so funny….
Melanie is starting to grow out of her newborn clothes and I’m not ready. I’m so happy she’s growing up but at the same time I just got used to the little nugget we brought home from the hospital. I’m crying happy and sad tears 🥲🥹
I’m in the mood to be productive around the house but my sweet baby girl is passed out on my chest so it looks like we will just have to cuddle for the rest of eternity
The struggle of the third trimester is having the urge to nest and deep clean every square inch of the entire house but feeling physically uncomfortable and exhausted to get anything done
