@artichokebistro @Go_CheshireWest @Go_CheshireWest. Embarrassing. Support local businesses properly and stop this pathetic petty nonsense. @ChrisM4Chester

@Tim_Burgess @John_Illsley Brothers in arms starts with pop/rock catchiness but leaves you contemplating life and loss by the end. It is truly a masterpiece that stands the test of time. ❤🙏

[Tim Burgess @Tim_Burgess]

A huge amount of thanks and much love to Mr @John_Illsley

[John Illsley @John_Illsley]

Thank you for listening and remember if nothing else - be kind to each other #TimsTwitterListeningParty

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

@John_Illsley Thanks John! Great to have your comments here.

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

@John_Illsley Well said John

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

The song Brothers in arms is the work of a genius. So moving. @John_Illsley @MarkKnopfler #TimsTwitterListeningParty

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

@Tim_Burgess Brothers In Arms...there aren’t many songs like this.

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

@Burtog1975 @John_Illsley Pretty sure he did...and on his solo albums

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

@John_Illsley @LaYeniGran It’s another great groove John!

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

@Robinvds70 Me too! @John_Illsley

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

@Tim_Burgess This was always my late mother’s favourite song on the album...

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

@John_Illsley @LaYeniGran @LlSTENlNG_PARTY Mark’s written some truly great songs - lyrically and musically - sometimes this gets overlooked due to his virtuosity on the guitar.

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

@LlSTENlNG_PARTY @AlbumDayUK @John_Illsley Wembley Arena 20th Sept 1991, On Every Street tour...first time I got to see the band....main set finished with Telegraph Road....I was 15 and went nuts...

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

I play in a covers band - we do Beatles, Stones, lots of Indie/Britpop, but the most surprising floor filler of the night is always...Walk of Life...just makes everyone smile 😃 @John_Illsley #TimsTwitterListeningParty

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

Mark’s riff gets all the headlines in Money for Nothing but that bass line is absolutely solid @John_Illsley 👍 #TimsTwitterListeningParty

[Chris Sedwell @cstratman76]

@Petit_Darwin Weird Al Jankovic I think @John_Illsley @MarkKnopfler
