@3lectricBrawl I use it for anything that leaves an odour. Whether that be takeaway from the restaurant or a bag of fertiliser or just anything I don’t want to leak
Ride share platforms/apps are common place. Why can’t Tesla just make their own? And you just put your FSD on the road? It’s not much of a stretch at all. They’ve been passing all of the testing and even with live customers thus far. No reason why they can’t open the network the the entire fleet
This is wank. Cruise control has been around for multiple decades. If your car is going faster than the speed limit, you need to scroll down on the cruise control. Driving a supervised Tesla is no different. Just use right thumb scroll wheel and set the new max, just as simple any car with cruise control. She’s out of her mind
@Diana152281 You can get an entry level model 3 or Y dirt cheap. Even lower class prices. FSD was just 8k for life. They’re very affordable for the tech. I can’t believe there’s other car companies charging more than Tesla does because they’re all inferior products by a mile
@PikminGuts92 Government approval doesn’t take
Much time, just money. When the tech is ready and Tesla deems it safe, government approval and adoption will be seemingly overnight
My Tesla prompts me for lan changes randomly sometimes. So I just confirm yes, not knowing why and it changes lanes, low and behold there was an on-ramp behind some trees that I couldn’t see and it just wanted to move over into the open lane to free up the oncoming lanes. It’s doing that without FSD.. just with auto steer and lane change turned on
@vibeeval Hardware is going to become obsolete overnight soon. Physical hardware means you need to own or rent a space for them, with air conditioning costs and likely additional cooling depending on where you live.
Holding TSLA is still the best risk-adjusted move. And when you look at these other investments over a 20 year period, calculate their CAGR. Even with TSLA not ripping to 2t or 3t market cap just yet, when you do the maths for CAGR, it’s still 30% year over year minimum. Find me a stock that’s averaging 30% even in a 5 year plateau
@hazardc@LamarMK Yeah and you’ve seen robotaxi in 5+ states in the US now and in the Netherlands EU now. It’s not happening overnight but it’s happening
Look I hear ya, and I agree all the costs you mentioned have to be taken into consideration. Yeah well the interior can look brand new if you have everything covered. I have a full all weather suite of interior protection. It valcros onto the walls and rear of seats.
Put all your estimates into grok and extrapolate the profit out to 10 years of ownership, 20,30,50.
@hazardc@LamarMK Wear and tear? Just buy a new battery for 13k @ 650000 kms. Rinse repeat . Keep it for 50 years. Man do the full math with Ai. It’s beneficial
@FegersRacing@LamarMK You seem to be comparing today’s supervised for $99 with the future unsupervised FSD. We’re talking about unsupervised, it’s completely different. We’re talking about sleeping while your car drives you across the country. It’s going to be very valuable
@SkipMagnificent@LamarMK I’m
Hopefully too but “Expect” is a big call. They’re a business. You paid for what you got. If they bring out unsupervised it’s a far more advanced technology than you already paid for.
