@Teslarati@greggertruck I used to use no AC, but that just takes in humidity if it is humid. I do keep regular overheat on now. Shouldn't be needed but might help protect whatever is left inside.
@Out_of_Spec Wait, so it says 50kW charging. That's great. I'm all about this option now. Just need a little more payload capacity. The full fuel and fresh tanks are going to leave only 125 lbs for cargo.
@Out_of_Spec@SterlingPosey This is nice as a PG-5 lite. Smaller and less power. But smaller generator is definitely a trade-off. Let's see where pricing comes in at...
@teslatidbits Agree with all these takes on current software. Did you check what FSD version it has?
My HW3 Y did have ryzen. Nothing wrong with it. I was thrilled to get a HW4 Cybertruck even though CT lagged behind on FSD for a while in 2025. Now I would definitely have fomo without HW4.
Bummer. But you do get heavy use and they might not hold up to the torque well. My pirellis are going to get maybe 35k under light duty use. I think I'm going to try Bridgestone Dueler AT Ascent. If the efficiency hit is too much I'll just use them in winter/adventuring and try a set of the steelies with those stock tires.
Yeah, this one is great. The DC fast charging is huge. Can go anywhere, get some gas, run to 0%, take a break and recharge full in two hours. Love this serious offgrid option. More options like this need to happen. I wouldn't mind a little more compact.
I'm also pondering an on-vehicle overland build and include taking apart a 50A generator to fit it in frunk to get off grid charging for the extra boost when needed.
I had a few awkward barking at first with 14.3.3. But after the first few days it's been great. Today very close calls with squirrel and bird and it barely reacted. Prior version was bad with both of those. Speed was also a complaint of mine but I think I've become used to it now. It's been great for me over the past week plus.
@LimitingThe A little hard to take someone seriously who is worth an order of magnitude more than that. But maybe that is what he sets aside to live from and is happy with it. Ideally you set aside your minimum comfort amount and the rest remains invested aggressively and keep it growing.
@cybrtrkguy It was definitely there after I installed and used 14.3.3, because I checked it because it seemed extra quiet. But it still wasn't doing anything. Seemed like maybe the HVAC was quieter.
Then ANC option disappeared after a day or two.
@DirtyTesLa Forget the streaks. They are incentivizing wrong behavior. We need to continue training for refinement. Take over and correct for anything you don't like. "Any input is error."
@Teslarati Yes, but the smooth creeping is really good now after it stops and I haven't recently had any trust issues with it pulling out when it shouldn't. The stop still feels a little long (better than before), and a human would usually stop farther forward where they can see better.
