This is purely my personal experience, thoughts and feelings:
Never thought I’d be this lucky — to end up sitting right in front of YoungK at Wonpil’s Unpiltered concert. It honestly still feels like a dream.

being a fan of someone feels like admiring a flower. watching them grow and seeing them bloom can make us feel proud in such a personal way. but admiring a flower doesn’t mean owning it or deciding how it should grow. the kindest support is simply letting it bloom in its own way.
Genuine question: why did you choose to stan DAY6? Or any artist you deeply admire? What made you stay?
Was it because of their music that found you in difficult moments? Their lyrics that felt like someone understood you? Their talent, hard work, or the way they inspired you to keep going when life felt heavy?
I ask this because lately, seeing people turn so quickly over something that isn’t even confirmed yet feels heartbreaking.
With a dating rumor that isn’t even confirmed, I’ve seen people suddenly turn cruel — questioning sincerity, invalidating years of effort, demanding apologies, throwing harsh words as if they are owed something deeply personal. And honestly, it feels strange. Disheartening.
When did being a fan become synonymous with ownership?
To me, being a fan means appreciating the music they create, recognizing the hard work behind sleepless nights, respecting their talent, and finding inspiration through their journey while continuing our own. Support should never become control.
Artists are human before anything else. They deserve happiness, privacy, growth, and the freedom to live their lives without feeling chained to expectations.
We didn’t become a fan to own their lives.
You don’t have to stay if supporting them no longer makes you happy, that’s your choice. But holding someone emotionally hostage because they didn’t fit an image you created of them feels unfair.
As for me, as long as my favorite artist has done nothing harmful or wrong, I’ll continue to support them. Because I became a fan not only for the music, talent, and effort—but also because I respect them as artists and as people.
At the end of the day, love and admiration should never become possession 😊
honestly, i don’t think this changes the way i feel at all. it’s not a crime, it’s simply a normal part of someone’s life, so i’m not really shaken by it either.
to me, it’s just “so what?”
as long as the choices they make aren’t harmful or morally unacceptable, i don’t see a reason to turn it into something bigger than it is.
i’ll continue supporting them the same way i always have🤍
