I've got some big feelings about Star Trek Discovery and how it betrays the utopian feel of Star Trek that I adore.

At the moment Discovery is falling into the trap of neoliberalism in that it finally gives us some long overdue queer representation, but seemingly at the cost of the truly radical post-scarcity core of Trek.
