We had the privilege of tabling at the 26th Annual Los Angeles Black College Expo! Daniel, Sarah, and Wyatt provided activities for the attendees with lab instruments and sought to answer any questions about science We were overjoyed to see so many aspiring scientists!
Alexis and Caribel from the Marine Ecology Lab presented at Middle College High School this morning, discussing their unique pathways into their current research at CSULB. The students got the opportunity to investigate sexual dimorphism in birds and chipmunks! 🐦⬛🐿️

Calling all members! Join us for our first workshop of the semester on designing and delivering engaging classroom presentations to a K-12 audience, hosted by RDS Faculty Advisor @rhernandezpach and RDS Secretary @Ali_Bland_1.
Our first outreach event of the fall semester was a success! RDS spent the day at the STEAM Expo hosted by @ncrfoundation, where our volunteers spoke to some of the 2,000 participants about research and the RDS initiative.
