Kaiku Kaholoaa (Biology, Fall ‘21) was recently awarded a 2022 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP) Award and the Ford Foundation Fellowship.
Two CSUMB students, Carina Huerta and Deanna Walter, along Dr. Steven Kim, have been studying particulate matter throughout Monterey County over the past 2 years. Their analysis gives an insight into the human impact on our air quality. @MontereyHerald@csumbmathstat

Keyoni McNair, along with Dr. Joshua Gross, has had a paper accepted at the annual conference of the American Society for Engineering Education. The paper describes research conducted to better understand what interests CS majors have outside of CS and math.
