Affirmative action was never a complete answer in the drive towards a more just society. But for generations of students who had been systematically excluded from most of Americaβs key institutionsβit gave us the chance to show we more than deserved a seat at the table.
In the wake of the Supreme Courtβs recent decision, itβs time to redouble our efforts.
Congratulations Class of 2023!!! On Sunday we were honored to celebrate our graduating seniors and send them off with encouraging words. With guest speaker Dr. Michelle Best and the honoring of Dr.Johnie Scott.
