It is with tremendous sadness that we announce we have lost a brother and a mentor, Forrest Owens.
Forrest served our community for over 35 years as a volunteer firefighter, Captain, career Assistant Chief, and even after his retirement.
Flags are at half mast in his honour.
We are accepting applications for #POCFirefighters. Recruit class competition will be this fall. Have you wanted to give back to your community? Do you live in #CSaan? Are you over the age of 19? If so, apply now! We are accepting application until Aug 31. https://t.co/eOG8Nf7WZz
The Central Saanich Volunteer Firefighters Association is proud to announce that our President-Emeritus, Stacey Lee, has taken on the roll as full time Deputy Chief of @CSaanichFire. He received his white helmet at tonight’s practice from Chief Mount.
Congratulations DC Lee!
Do you have a live tree? Do not forget to keep your tree away from all sources of heat, water daily so it doesn't dry out & keep your tree away from exits. #CSaan#FireSafety#FirePrevention#HolidayFireSafety
