i think the cornell rapists should be skinned alive and set on fire and every other member of the frat who remained silent should jump off a bridge one after another
this article is the entire problem with the “parents rights” reactionary movement in politics in that parents believe they have a right to torture and abuse their children because they are uncomfortable with their children not being property they can control forever
I feel intense sadness over the Cornell rape situation especially because she did everything right. She reported it quickly and the campus police didn’t care, the campus admins didn’t care, she gave names and times and faces and they didn’t care
I grieve and weep for all of the survivors of sexual violence who don’t have the fucking energy or capacity to sue. Or who tried and didn’t have enough evidence. May the Cornell 7 burn in the depths of hell.
@AdamLivsOn Very clear line as to why the Bucs are fucked. Letting Liam coen go, keeping Bowles/not promoting coen to head coach, leads to Mike leaving making our no1 wr a player in his second year
this is exactly what i mean when i say dead children are widely seen as a loss of a POTENTIAL person rather than the actual individual human they were. the younger they are the more “replaceable” people see them as
primetime spoilers, but i think my favorite shot of 2026 is decoy danny standing in front of the missing children's posters in the police station. real children they could allocate resources for relegated to the background as they invent fictive children for entertainment justice
hansen literally repeats george bush's "you're either with us or with the terrorists" and they literally stage the climatic scene like the bin laden raid and if that wasn't clear enough they have a picture of bin laden as a target in the police locker room!!!!!
incredible the amount that PRIMETIME depicts the entire TO CATCH A PREDATOR enterprise as analogous to the invasion of Iraq and the search for WMDs -- our absolute American certainty that force is the only way forward, no matter the truth, as long as it's *our* truth. good movie.
