Last local ham event. This time I got a UHF Kenwood TK-862G(N) and a UHF trunking PRM-80. On the later I had to get a replacement eeprom to flash a dedicated firmware and it worked fine.
Forgot to mention, Tags (ex tagger) application was published on flathub some weeks ago. Feel free to try it. Some additional features will follow

@112Mannheimer No problem. It did not work for me but I got hold of another firmware for the 5Tone variant (C628). Also does not work and I start to suspect something more to it. I would like you to try on yours just to validate if it's a problem from mine. I'll send you soon. 73
@112Mannheimer I've sent 3 emails first and last with attachments. Did you receive only one email? If this is the case check the spam folder. Maybe we need to find another way to send files
@112Mannheimer Thanks for the info. I indeed I once found some fw but there are a few TK-762 models. Mine are G(N) narrow. I'll keep searching. As last resort we can read a working eeprom and reflash the hard way but not keen on doing it yet...
@112Mannheimer Another option is to unsolder the eeprom and read the contents but that should be last resort. If you find it before I do, please warn me. Thank you, best 73 de CT1ENQ
@112Mannheimer Hi, I don't have it and I'm also searching for it. I have an additional unit that is not booting up and it probably needs the firmware. Not sure if I can read the firmware from a working unit that I have (reports firmware as being C628. If I find it I'll warn you.
