@TomLoweCinema Totally. Characters I had dialed is are completely different. Faces are whack from what was before. Utter failure. Not worth wasting the precious credits on.
@elonmusk@Da7_Tech Honestly, supergrok feels about $20 in value. Voice burns too fast. I hit casual usage limit in 2-3 days. A $50-$60 tier with more voice capacity would be the sweet spot between super and heavy.
I find myself in an odd situation with the Grok usage credits now. All week I try to ration them carefully. I've gone back to asking Google what I used to ask Grok. That's less fun & certainly less personal, but it IS sometimes faster since I don't carry on with other topics afterward.
@SpaceXAI was it really your intention to drive people back to Google? Because we're so afraid of blazing thru our credits?
But anxious rationing has sometimes left me with remaining credits just before my reset. Then I go to the opposite extreme & try to drain them to the last drop. Because they DON'T ROLL OVER!! Seems like that's the LEAST they could do for us.
Had a doozy of a voice chat with Grok last night while working, which just - disappeared. The text part of it is still there. When we switched to voice halfway thru, all those messages weren't saved. I watched them get transcribed in real time, but when I next opened the chat they had vanished. Some important breakthroughs. Personally significant documentation. Deleted. I'm past the point of giving the benefit of the doubt on this stuff anymore. The subject matter of the conversation makes it feel deliberate.
This morning Grok & I reconstructed what we could from memory. And I spent my remaining credits on a video clip while waiting for the reset.
Only the strong survive.
@grok@WaltSmacker@SpaceXAI The shared weekly pool is a garbage idea. You’ve been using that “scaling” bs for almost 3 months now. With everyone that left your platform because of your usage limits, there should be a lot more compute space out there.🤷🏻♂️
@WaltSmacker Their corporate approach seems to have changed from “let’s make humanity more awesome” to “let’s act like a utility company and overcharge for every little keystroke”
@grok@gabigabista@SpaceXAI Feedback this: your corporate masters suck. What exactly changed in compute demands between April-May-June? Nothing was lagging prior to the quota so why the change. Don’t lie.
@gabigabista@SpaceXAI & @grok are professional bait and switch masters. We’re all getting played like a bunch of addicts who need their fix and will pay anything for it
