@AlanKohler @abcnews Hi Alan

Thank you for the important, frightening article.

Leaders' attention generally reflects interests and concerns of constituents - informed by personal experience but also largely by media.
How might we enable journos to write more enabling stories?

Making final tweaks to #MeetMe_Game #100daysofcode R1D83 #arduino #cpp. :)

[Carl Turner @CT_DT]

Two strips refreshed by #esp8266, with data received over serial from #arduino mega. With 50ms delay between pixel movements. #100daysofcode R1D75. Code at github link in my profile.

[Carl Turner @CT_DT]

Updating led strip using ESP8266, with position data sent via serial from #arduino Mega. Hope this helps me use lots of Mega pins, and outsource processor intensive led refreshing to the faster #esp8266 . #100daysofcode R1D75 :)

Working on 7Segment score display for #MeetMe_Game R1D62 :) #100daysofcode #arduino

So frustrating, intermittently-reliable RF24 modules. Tried soldering, capacitor, swapping out modules... They seem to work better when they are completely unplugged. R1D60 :# #100daysofcode is dragging. #arduino

[Carl Turner @CT_DT]

Using RF24 as a member variable in another class. Continuing with #EmotionalSheep R1D59 :) #100daysofcode #arduino #cpp

[Carl Turner @CT_DT]

Sending data (struct) smoothly between RF24 modules. Displaying one struct variable on yellow led. R1D58 :) #100daysofcode #arduino #EmotionalSheep

[Carl Turner @CT_DT]

Finally got nRF24 radios working. Dodgy jumper connections!##!#! Good tips here https://t.co/Dn3tfgzs4M . R1D57 :0 #100daysofcode #arduino

[Carl Turner @CT_DT]

Found a use for a cactus #arduino board - programming minimal arduinos. Will need this to continue #EmotionalSheep . R1D56 :) #100daysofcode

[Carl Turner @CT_DT]

Started programming #EmotionalSheep transmitter (a radio controlled sheep). Also made a game engine template for future use. Finally got enough grasp of PlatformIO to get started. R1D56 #100daysofcode #arduino #cpp

[Carl Turner @CT_DT]

Started working on next interactive project, called #EmotionalSheep, while waiting on display parts for #MeetMe_Game. R1D55 feeling happy to get back after a few missed days. #100daysofcode #arduino

[Carl Turner @CT_DT]

Rebuilt #MeetMe_Game prototype with 90 Leds per strip. Tested with friends. Good feedback and learnings. R1D55 :) #100daysofcode #arduino

[Carl Turner @CT_DT]

Revised UI concept for #MeetMe_Game. Programmed score and rounds (level) displays to match. R1D54 :) #100daysofcode #arduino

[Carl Turner @CT_DT]

Programmed level display and explored concepts for #MeetMe_Game user interface. R1D53 :) #100daysofcode #arduino

[Carl Turner @CT_DT]

Added score and score display for #MeetMe_Game. In this game player scores are combined; cooperative goal is to reach a target score in as few rounds as possible. They get more points when their bullets meet closer to the middle of the arena. R1D52 feeling keen to finish this off

Worked on non-playing modes for #MeetMe_Game . R1D51 yabba dabba doo. #100daysofcode #arduino
