@MoesProyect@speakout_april@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F I understand from you explaining that it's something that happens in the culture. But, why can't I still find it strange to hear a father and son call themselves the SAME thing? How do you not understand how that might be confusing?
@MoesProyect@speakout_april@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F I find it stranger that you don't see how someone else could find it strange that a father and son use the same word to talk to each other? You could easily say "yah its pretty confusing but that's how it is" and that would be better than what you're doing.
@MoesProyect@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F I have obviously heard someone call their DAD pa... I have never heard someone call their SON papa.
Also, I never said I speak spanish.
@imooncake_@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F This definitely is the best response I've seen, thanks. It's hilarious how butt hurt other people are getting. Is that just normal twitter or what? I don't usually post on twitter lol. It is still weird as an english speaker to hear that father/sons call each other the same name.
@MoesProyect@speakout_april@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F Trying to understand someone else culture isnt a bad thing. You dont have to response and clarify if its too much. There are enough people replying. As an english speaker, yes, it is extremely odd to hear the same word be used for father and son. Is that hard to understand?
@MoesProyect@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F So, a normal conversation growing up for you... your dad calls for you "Hey papa" and you respond "yes pa?" I guess I never heard that before. I lived in mexico and never heard that exchange before. Very interesting.
@ShalomWolfman@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F I was thinking that except would you call your dad the same thing? If my dad called me "champ", I feel like I would get a lot of weird looks if I called my dad "champ" right back lol. Whatever the nickname is, it feels weird for a dad/son to call each other the same thing.
@speakout_april@MoesProyect@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F just thinking about a mom/daughter or a dad/son talking to each is hilarious. Hey papa? Yes papa? lmao. I guess we are used to it in a relationship where you call each other "babe". Maybe it's just the fault of the translation. Since papa literally translates to dad on google.
@speakout_april@MoesProyect@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F And I don't say unusual as a way to make fun of someone. More of a sincere like... it seems confusing and odd for parents and kids to refer to each other with the same word. If papa translates to "dad", then as a dad, I would probably find any other word to call my son.
@bursterbarbie@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F you brought up incest you weirdo. Nothing I said had anything to do with incest until you brought it up. I never ever thought it was a sexual father/son thing. EVER. You are the ones that brought that up for some reason. No idea why. You must not have processed what I said.
@bursterbarbie@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F I know you can read. So why did you bring up incest? Elaborate. My point is that if papa can mean both DAD or SON, why would that be the word you would use. I would never call my father the same thing he would call me. Isnt that weird? And you turned this conversation into incest
@bursterbarbie@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F Well, you twisted my words and you failed and made yourself look stupid. Congrats. You're being dishonest or you didn't read my posts. I literally said I didn't think it was father/son and you somehow bring up Incest. What is wrong with you?
@bursterbarbie@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F Also, at this point, you have tried and failed to twist my words into something that you have in your head or agenda. You are clearly just trying to farm reactions but you are better off trying to find a different target. You failed at this one.
@bursterbarbie@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F What are you talking about? Woman and men use the word Papi as a sexual thing without it being incest related, ALL THE TIME. You're making things weird. Why do you have such a sick mind that you are trying to project it onto me?
@bursterbarbie@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F I literally said I thought it wasn't his dad and that I thought it was 2 lovers and you somehow bring up incest? So, is that your subconscious poking out? Never once did I think it was a dad being sexual with his kid. You're the one being weird
@bursterbarbie@UNIVERSE_FEEDS@InternetH0F You arent being serious or genuine right now. A guy calls a younger feminine guy papa and you don't see how I thought it could be 2 lovers? Who said anything about incest? You're being the weird one now lol. I certainly didn't think it was a DAD being sexual with his kid.
