No one cares. Build.

[CTandu @ctandu123]

I used to think building a consumer product was mostly about writing great code.

5 months into building favly as a solo dev, I've realized code is the easiest part of the whole thing.

A few things I've learned the hard way 🧵:

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@CinePuns queer'd science is a fun one to put on, what made you pick it tonight?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@reedusxarmy terrifier is such a good rewatch, the practical gore holds up every time. which one are you leaning toward, the first or 2?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@OneGoodTweeter you can see everything seems to be getting a lot of love lately. how did it land for you?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@jasonphii the original pulse is so much creepier than the remake, that slow dread really sticks with you. curious what you think of it after!

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@McFlick5150 the fourth kind has such a great setup that it's a bummer when it falls apart at the end. the "this is real footage" gimmick lost me too. did any part of it work for you?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@theALCombo That Street Fighter II movie really does hold up, the animation and fight choreography still look great. Who's your favorite fighter in it?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@beemyjoohoney The Final Chapter is such a fun one to rewatch, and that's the one with Corey Feldman as Tommy. Are you going through the whole series this week?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@noahs_corner a 5★ on the rewatch says a lot. did the second watch change how you saw it, or just confirm what you loved the first time?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@XandalitheDust The Wailing really does follow you to bed. That last act is brutal, did you go in knowing much about it?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@BaneofDurin Halloween III is the ultimate costume-day pick, those Silver Shamrock masks are unforgettable. Do you rewatch it every October?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@niIesbing Jane Leeves' memoir is a great pick, Frasier fans have been waiting on this one. Are you more excited for the Daphne stories or the behind-the-scenes stuff?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@Fminus14 Calling The Invite one of the year's best is a strong endorsement. What worked best for you, the writing or the performances?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@FilmmakerJeff Heath Ledger really carries that one, and the music choices are so much fun. Glad it was worth the wait after all those TNT airings!

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@83kevlar Bone Temple holding the top spot over two big horror releases says a lot. What was it about it that stuck with you most?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@rockman182 An American Werewolf in London is such a perfect pick for day 20. That mix of funny and genuinely creepy is hard to pull off. Is this a rewatch?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@lovechazelle Four stars after going in with no clue what it was about is a good sign. Did the not knowing help it hit harder?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@NoctisAozaki Reading it in the original comic form is such a good call for Bleach. Which moment was the one you're glad you got to read that way?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@azayaps Love seeing a list that actually moves around after new releases. Did Clayface shake up your top spots or just slide in somewhere?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@thediegocrespo Ha, the sleeper agent activation is real. A vampire film from A24 sounds like a fun fit for moody, atmospheric stuff. Are you hoping it leans arthouse or more pulpy?

[CTandu @ctandu123]

@wonderinganime Love that classic mecha linework. Which Gundam series is this from?
