@DanWuori Awesome independent problem solving. How do you help a child who insists on crying and saying “I can’t do it” or “I tried my best” for any task requiring persistence beyond 20 seconds?

If a farmer does all they can to prepare the field, irrigate, etc. what if the plant chooses not to grow? If a teacher does all they can to prepare a safe, yet challenging learning environment, how do we motivate children to reach their potential if they choose to not try?
