In Seoul, Minister @onduhungirehe participated in Foreign Ministers' session on Joint Responses to Global Challenge-Korea-Africa solidality alongside delegations from 50 countries.
In his address, he reaffirmed Rwanda's readiness to continue working closely with the Republic of Korea and all African partners to ensure the effective implementation of the shared commitments and to further strengthen the mutual partnership for future generations.
⤵️Here are the key takeaways from his address:
This evening, President Kagame and First Lady Jeannette Kagame joined a full BK Arena for the Basketball Africa League (@theBAL) Season 6 Final game between Rwanda’s RSSB Tigers and Angola’s Petro de Luanda.
RSSB Tigers were crowned champions after a hard-fought 90–88 victory, becoming the first Rwandan team to win the BAL title since the league was launched in 2021.
GEN Z — WAKE UP!
Gen Z,
The world once called you the fire of the future,
The ones who would rewrite history,
But look around
You’re burning the pages, not writing them.
You rise in anger,
Break your own bridges,
Tear down walls that your fathers built with sweat and hope,
Then shout “change!” as if chaos is a seed.
No, my children of Wi-Fi and wild hashtags,
Change is not destruction.
Revolution without reason
Is just noise in the night.
When you destroy your own school,
You dim the light for the next generation.
When you loot your own streets,
You steal from your mother’s hands.
Have you ever seen them
Those white kids in Europe or America
Burning their classrooms to protest?
No. They build, they debate, they design.
They shout with their pens, not with fire.
And listen
If you don’t agree with things,
You don’t have to show it by destroying or burning.
You can stand strong and still be peaceful.
Raise your voice, not your hands.
March with wisdom, not with matches.
True courage is calm,
And true power builds, it doesn’t break.
Gen Z of Africa,
You are the power, the rhythm, the voice
But where is your vision?
Where is your unity?
Kenya, Tanzania, you are one heartbeat,
And yet you stab your own reflection.
Rise not in rage, but in reason.
Protest not by breaking, but by building.
If you must fight,
Fight ignorance.
If you must burn,
Burn laziness and greed.
If you must shout,
Shout for peace, for progress, for pride.
Gen Z
Wake up!
Your ancestors dreamed of a free Africa.
Don’t turn it into ashes
Because you mistook anger for purpose.
You are not lost
You are simply loud.
Now, be loud with love.
Be loud with light.
Be loud with leadership.
Les championnats mondiaux de cyclisme à Kigali au Rwanda, pour la première fois en Afrique, vont projeter une image positive de ce pays qui m’est si cher, bien loin des caricatures que l’on peut lire dans certains médias. @UCI_cycling @UCIRWANDA

Through the recent elections, Rwandans have rejected two narratives; that African leaders cannot deliver for their people and that longevity in political leadership is, always, a bad thing.@SannyNtayombya shares his thoughts on a bond between a leader and his people, founded on delivery.👇🏿👇🏿

“But”….the international media favorite word when reporting on Rwanda.
Impressive economic growth…BUT the numbers must be made up.
Unity and Reconciliation…BUT it must be coerced.
Peace and security…BUT it must all be a façade.
Over one million Tutsis killed because of who they were…BUT let’s leave room to be vague about who the victims are.
30 years after the Genocide against the Tutsi, the subtext is clear: we were not supposed to survive the unthinkable and to rebuild a nation that surpasses the standards set for “our kind.”
Dear media, this is a reminder, that no amount of twisted headlines can hide the truth of Rwanda’s resilience, the strength of the survivors and the dignity we carry in our identity. And no amount of portraying victims as perpetrators will be enough to wash off your guilt.
