The Ochsner Andrews Sports Medicine Institute is now accepting applications for its annual Sports Medicine Summer Internship.

Twenty-two young men from Tangipahoa and Livingston parishes competed in the FFA District Welding contest. Chandler Diaz and Ryan Mizell were the first place team competing for Live Oak. Thanks to SLU, Turner Industries, and Mr. Wascom for hosting the event at Independence High.
