@admcollingwood They crave publicity ,they got it. Unfortunately.
They do not represent me or my views.
I wish they would stop claiming to speak for Islam and Muslims, they don't.
Important to emphasise our own differences and modes of thinking.
Thank you.
@HasAhmed_ Agreed. 🙂 They are seeking power and influence ,which in Sufism is actually a spiritual disease.
May Allah guide them to focus on Tazkiyyah and "In house cleaning" ,as I say ,which is sorely needed.
In short note form ,as I've explained to numerous professors and lecturers.
Sinful Muslim regrets his sins. He can now spend his entire life wallowing in guilt ,according to a hardline preacher,
Or do taubah ,and carry on with his life, Which will mean family responsibilities, work and the usual mundane daily grind. As a wiser advisor will state.
The terrorist recruiter will cunningly emphasise Allahs wrath and the need for a powerful redemptive act. #terrorism
Hence why many isis recruits were already criminals before becoming Terrorists. Essentially running away from Mundane Islam .Which it is #spiritual
Brig Barker - The dark trajectory of Jihad
A sexually abused Muslim Terrorist ,as there have been a few, discussed with eminent scholars ,will turn to hyper Masculinity ,to "prove ,or reclaim his manhood"

Prevent referrals are NOT Terrorism convictions. Also according to the law ,everyone is innocent until proven Guilty .
Terrorism convictions ,in recent years, for Plots ,glorification, and actual attacks are overwhelmingly Muslim, across the globe.
Muslims here are NOT treated as second class citizens by the Judiciary.

An early interview will be of interest
Terrorist recruiters target angry vulnerable youth with grievances, and use them to take up some cause. One must try not to be manipulated online, or in real life, to hate someone for their different colour, religion, or even because they are too liberal etc, as terrorists also target LGBT communities, synagogues, mosques, and even peacemakers in the wider context. They are zealots who cannot stand any other way of life or thought but theirs.Tolerances of differences is vital, as the binary world view is dangerous. The planet consists of millions of different opinions and lifestyles, as is the human right, so bullying and intolerance could be precursors for worse to come
With respect to youth participation in radicalisation prevention, Mr. Patel believes small actions can have a big impact on local communities and even on people we don’t know, who access our content on the online space.
Focusing on studies and personal development should be the priority. By working in local, family and community projects, and involvement, you will be able to make a real impact and change. As circumstances around the world are not in our control, work locally, think globally. “Be the change you wish to see in the world

To tackle radicalisation, it’s important to know more about each other, and focus on all that we have in common. All religions and peoples have differences. We all have different levels of wealth and privileges. Terrorist recruiters target angry vulnerable youth with grievances, and use them to take up some cause. Love, education, time and attention – words that can prevent radicalisation by someone who faced this problem in his own family: an interview with Ahmed Patel – Words Heal The World
@MasterMaliq A lot of this comes from the old Indo Pak traditions and needs to be dismantled.
Cultural Islam ,eats away at any real Progressive Intellectually led Islam ,which is sorely needed today.
@MasterMaliq Sadly we are let down by too many Muslims claiming to know Islam too. Their voices have become louder and actions more vile. Thus the primary interaction of most people is ignorant Muslims ,Online. Or negative news stories .
We have to embody Islam ,which sadly has a quiter voice
