£112,000 incoming to DFRS to support fire safety in the service...this has been confirmed. Glossop station also on the agenda to replace the station

CFO Tomlinson updating authority on incidents of note. House fires, rescues, water rescue, train collision, RTC's complex rescue, large building fires along with day to day community and business safety, training and development....crews on the ground remain busy.....

Cllr Ramsey explains that in the area of black and Asian firefighters,DFRS has not improved for many many years.He believes that the independent review is required in order to move the service on and improve diversity within DFRS. Our communities need to have confidence in DFRS

Capital budget and long term investments budget. Projects are not significantly behind. Some financial slippage will move to 2024/25 year. Matlock and RMS are progressing. Number of vehicle and property projects have completed. Enjoyed higher treasury rates and continue to..

At Derbyshire Fire Authority Meeting. Finance paper reporting over half million underspend in revenue budget outturn£££. This is being asked to be put into strategic reserve with a closing balance of £13.6M.
