Thought it’d be fun to share some plein air sketches from Washington. Some are quick studies before a painting, helping me clarify my statement. Far from perfect, but like jotting down notes.

Enjoyed a much-needed family vacation in Las Vegas, Bryce, and Zion. We visited Bryce Canyon, captured one digital plein air at sunset, and focused on time together. The older I get, the more I value loved ones, nature, and simply being present.

Leaving Lago di Braies, we drove through incredibly green rolling hills dotted with houses and farms. This mountain view made us stop. The light shifted every few minutes, casting shadows and lighting the peaks—a fun challenge.

I just returned from a solo trip to Canada, visiting Alberta, Montreal, and Toronto, enjoying nature and city life.
