Americans spent a weekend welcoming summer, wrapping up school or tossing back a few w/friends. It’s good but this time also contains our nation's most somber remembrances. Todays the official day of reflection of the sacrifice those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom 🇺🇸
This morning America lost one of our great comedians and patriots, and I lost a dear friend. Tom Dreesen died at 86 years old. He was a special person, a U.S. Navy veteran with a tremendously charitable heart.
He served as a Gary Sinise Foundation ambassador for the past 14 years and was always there when I asked for his support. He loved our country and the men and women who serve and he loved supporting them through our foundation.
Tom was hilarious, always could make us laugh, and such a good friend. I will miss him terribly. What a great long career he had in show business.
Thank you, Tom. God Bless you my friend. Rest in Peace brother.
90% of the soldiers on the first boats to hit the beach didn't live to see the end of the day. Look at those faces. Some of them never made it to 18.
Never forget that they paid the ultimate price for our freedom. We live our lives the way we do because of them.
Justin Rose has an empty space in his spectacular trophy cabinet, and it’s far too early to be thinking about him filling it but … it would be an immensely satisfying win for the over-40 crowd. 🌹

This is Pure Gold. I had the pleasure of spending time with Coach Holtz. I wanted to hear him explain his Three Rules for Life! 1) Do what’s right - trust. 2) Do everything to the best of your ability- commitment. 3) Show people you care - love. It’s pretty simple. He goes on to highlight why the transfer portal is ruining college football. The kids are losing out on the life lessons learned- how to persevere, how to be committed to a program and a group of people. You miss out on the bonds you create over 4 years. If you leave, you still have the problem, you are changing the address. These are words to live by.
Congrats to @GCSAA on 100 years!! Their members protect and improve the Game’s most valuable asset! @USGA is proud to be partnered with you for the next 100!
Humbled by the honor, happy to be a small part of one of the greatest golf associations ever created. Think MGA and it is the historic courses, legendary architects, and unforgettable majors. Above all though it is so many wonderful people who love and support the game. #golf
Fuzzy came after the big 3 and kept @PGATourChampions
golf relevant. He was a fun loving competitor who gave up golf to care for his ailing wife. No one cares about his insensitive comments today from 1997 including @TigerWoods. RIP FUZ
Fuzzy Zoeller, last man to win a Masters on his first try & with a club caddie. But his legacy is the ill-advised remarks about Tiger, fried chicken or "whatever the hell they serve". Fuzz was from southern Indiana & despite many apologies, he never got the outrage over a joke.
