Ok. I don’t think it is abusive to mock - or condemn - white men who put on “blackface”.
I don’t think it’s abusive to mock - or condemn - able-bodied people who “identify” as disabled.
I don’t think it’s abusive to mock — or condemn — adults who “identify” as children.
You need more examples?
I dislike deception.
Quaint view nowadays, I know.
@BevJacksonAuth@kittypurrzog There was always something off about Herzog and Singal. It just takes a little time to understand why by getting them to express their views.
@BevJacksonAuth@belladonna_bel@kittypurrzog I love @Glinner. He sees men bullying women and confronts it. My own journey was seeing women being coerced into complying with men’s demands- sex, diminishing their rights, taking advantage of & mocking women in innumerable ways. Public humiliation is the very least they deserve
@BevJacksonAuth@kittypurrzog I agree completely with Bev. A lesbian is a same sex attracted adult human female. Men can never be lesbians.
Anything differing from this is homophobia.
Yes. Exactly.
I have never met a single lesbian who was interested in a male suitor, regardless of what the suitor called themselves.
I recall a moment in 2012 where I was speaking with a proto-woke lesbian friend about this conundrum, and she emphatically agreed with me for about 20 seconds that lesbians wouldn't be interested in males, before she realized what this meant for "TWAW". She was quiet for almost a minute before reversing course.
K & J's handling of Graham is shameworthy. I think Katie even realizes that.
I think that is very weird criticism. Many of us feel strongly that a lesbian app should be only for lesbians. Some of the men who go on those apps cause actual distress to the users. The fact that those running the app “allow” men to pose as lesbians is itself highly objectionable. Instead of simply saying it was highly objectionable, Graham also posted images to make his point. I don’t consider
it abusive to mock men who claim to be lesbians. Mockery is sometimes the best way to highlight injustice.
@PoliceScotland knew Adam Shaw ('Eve') was male because he's got form. Why claim they'd arrested a woman for a mysterious substance on the pink, white & blue duct tape he's been covering the city with, who knows.

@ForWomenScot@PoliceScotland "It follows the arrest of 30-year-old Eve Shaw — previously known as Adam Shaw — after an “unknown substance” was found on a lamppost in Edinburgh."
So this person? https://t.co/2ciLgH7ySY
@ChrisMusson Which is not what CC Farrell told Parliament last Nov. She said bio sex data and information would be used across broader public policy.
https://t.co/OnnBAX2Kra
@ChrisMusson@Sorelle_Arduino That has to be balanced with their duties towards the public that they serve. Article 8 is not absolute. See pic.
Police forces should be truthful with the public. They should not lie to them and announce that a woman was arrested when this is not the case.
@ChrisMusson The actual law of the UK says it is NOT an offence to disclose protected information if Police are investigating a crime.
A flow chart for Police:
1. Am I investigating a crime - if yes go to 2.
2. You can disclose a suspect’s sex
Police Scotland say that officers recorded the person's sex in line with policy (biological sex), but the force argues that making any additional statement moves from a discussion about data recording to one that engages a person's human rights, and their right to a private life
"@PoliceScotland declined to comment."
How dare they? How dare a publicly-funded, publicly-accountable organisation take it upon themselves to choose when to explain itself? What a shit show. It needs clearing out at the highest level.
Cops spark gender storm after listing male suspect as a woman in statement
“Police Scotland declined to comment”
That’s just not good enough.
How are women supposed to trust the police and why isn’t the Chief Constable facing the cameras over this?

Now confirmed that the suspect in the lamppost case is a trans-identified man. @PoliceScotland claimed they had arrested a woman, contrary to their own policy.
