Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s. Render unto God the things that are God’s.
Every October is stewardship season at CTR. Yes, stewardship involves money. But stewardship is also about so much more. Listen in as Fr. Chris explains.

This past Sunday’s stewardship talk by Walker Reese, a younger member of our congregation, focuses on how important the mission and ministry of CTR have been for his wife and him and how we can invest in the generations to come. Please note that parents are encouraged to begin the discipline of giving with their children. Accordingly, children and youth will receive pledge cards. The full amount that children and youth give will go directly into their ministries, so they can see the benefit of their giving. #ctrfw

The Vineyard and the Feast
The parable of the wedding feast offers a similar picture to the parable of the tenants. But there is one major difference between the two. Join Fr. Charles as he explains.

October is stewardship month at CTR, meant to prepare us for next year’s budget. As we are in our first year in our permanent parish home, our theme is “All in… for generations to come…” encouraging everyone to make use of their time, talent, and treasure, as we expand our mission and ministry to spread the Gospel and grow the Kingdom of God! Below is our first talk, given on Sunday, October 4. We will gather pledge cards on All Saint’s Sunday, November 1, 2026. If you’re interested in knowing more, we would love to hear from you!

Though this doesn’t sound like news that could possibly be good, these are the two options Jesus gives us. Listen in as Fr. Chris explains.

Short sermon on Sunday because our service was an Instructed Eucharist. The message was for the children (Youth Sunday) but we can all benefit from it.

What about the Weeds?
The parable of the Sower was an indictment on the unready state of many and Israel. And at first, the parable of the weeds sounds like a mere retelling of last week’s Gospel, Matthew 13:24-30, 34-43. However, the Parable of the Weeds addresses a different concern altogether. Join Father Charles as he explains.

True Food, Starving People and You
Matthew, 9 and 10 offer a stark picture of Israel. The people are divided and leaderless and are desperate for direction. Jesus responds by sending his disciples into every town in village to proclaim good news. But their mission won't be easy. So Jesus gives instructions to them as well. Join Fr. Charles as he explains. #ctrfw #Anglican #Anglicanchurch #PentecostSeason
