How can one say no to his identity?

One negative thing the fight against fake miracles and fake Dibias has done is make some people think and feel there is nothing like powers anywhere. They now feel that everything starts and ends in this physical world.

I hear them say there is nothing like power in Christianity or residing in any pastor. Some say that Arusi and its likes have no power. And when I read all these things I laugh. I laugh at their ignorance. The problem with our people is that when they want to fight something they end up creating another problem. They are always driven to the extreme without knowing that virtue lies in the middle.

You can't because there are criiminals somewhere that opened churches and say there is nothing like miracles or metaphysical powers. You can't because there are Dibias fooling people and you come out to say there is no single power residing in them.

Listen, Ike di. There are dreams you will have where they shoot you and it happens in real life. You can be beaten up in the dream and you sustain injuries in real life. A man has been hit with a stick in his dream and he died because of it. You can be poisoned through dreams. The problem is that another method the enemy uses is deception. Make you believe these things are impossible. What technology is doing, our ancestors have used African spirituality to do many years back.

Funny enough some are even saying that there is nothing like a supernatural or supreme being.

Don't because you want to cure ignorance and end up swimming in an ocean of ignorance.

A Rejoinder: The Political Hatchet Job From A Non-existent Group Is Too Little, Too Late

The recent inaccurate, cheap blackmail and total lack of substance publication from one faceless, non-existent political group called BRAC (whatever that is?), through an equally unknown entity/coordinator called McDaniels is a total political hack designed, like a robot, for the sole purpose of spreading propaganda, lies and cleaning the image of any British poster boy such as Yakubu Gowon.

Frankly speaking, if not for the unsuspecting general public, replying the Nigerian Department of State Services(DSS) created group would have been as important as a used toilet paper whose only rightful place is to be flushed down the toilet.

It is the habit of every deplorable administration in Nigeria to always be open to a divide and conquer strategy. This is an old textbook strategy learnt from the psychopathic British colonial leadership.

While one is indeed amused by the current attempt to twist facts about the recent infamous but accurate statement from former Nigeria military ruler, Yakubu Gowon, it is equally tempting to ask, “when is Nigeria going to abandon the colonial and antiquated practice of divide and conquer?” It is imperative because the people can see through their game of division and, therefore, have moved on.

Now, the central theme of the attack on Yakubu Gowon is the fact that he refused to implement the agreement reached with General Ojukwu in Aburi, Ghana. However, according to this lying faceless group, the truth is that Gowon liberated the coastal aborigines. While the reference to coastal aborigines is a total political nut job, because there is no such thing since the states of Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwaibom and Cross river are homogeneous with Enugu, Imo, Anambra, Ebonyi, Abia and parts of Delta, Edo and Kogi states, the real question is, “how does refusing to implement a Peace Agreement that would have stopped a war translate to liberating a coastal aborigines?”

Gowon could not have liberated a people that were never in bondage until he decided to levy war on them. The politically distorting comment of ending a war peacefully is highly offensive and a mockery to the memory of millions that Yakubu Gowon killed because of a combination of his hatred for them and the quest for power. Therefore, this derogatory comment is useful to the extent that he did not start a war. The fact and truth is that Gowon is a villain. He went to Aburi in Ghana to negotiate a truce with General Ojukwu, but refused to implement the agreement reached, which he signed. Instead, he chose to start a war of attrition and genocide. No amount of media laundry will expunge this fact even if he tenders an apology. The DSS use of many other politically created groups like this one will not change anything.

Recall that recently, during his failed visit to president Tinubu, Yakubu Gowon bragged about how he started the war that led to the death of millions of Biafrans and how he was criticized for being slow. He was referring to how Bola Tinubu administration is being vilified for being clueless to governance. That ignoble comment went viral on the internet and elicited criticism, and the demand for apology came from both local and international actors including the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Islamic State Kidnaps 47 Women in Northern #Nigeria

ABUJA —At least 47 women are missing after Islamic militants carried out a mass kidnapping in northeast Nigeria, anti-jihadist militia leaders told AFP on Tuesday.
They blamed Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) for Friday's attack in Borno state, the heart of an Islamic militant insurgency which has left more than 40,000 people dead and two million displaced since 2009.

Anti-jihadist militia leader Shehu Mada said women from displacement camps in Ngala near the Cameroon border were gathering firewood when they were "rounded up by ISWAP insurgents."

"Some of the women were able to escape and returned," said Mada, who helped conduct a headcount. "Forty-seven women from the wood-collecting mission could not be accounted for. They were kidnapped by the jihadists."

Usman Hamza, another anti-jihadist militia leader, confirmed the account, saying, "47 women... didn't return after the insurgents swooped on them."
