I love making functional items with my @xToolOfficial P2 laser and I think leather is a great media to make beautiful and functional projects. In this video series I walk through how I make a magnetic leather bookmark.

Apparently a real time build video of a basic magnetic bookmark that was cut on my @xToolOfficial P2 laser was not the way to go if I wanted to get views. 😂

I’ve been running through a ton of filament lately while working on my 3D-printed LEGO-compatible letter series. Since I won’t be touching these spools for a while, I’m vacuum sealing them for long-term moisture protection.

It’s Letter H in my 3D printed LEGO-compatible alphabet series!
Printed with CC3D’s heat-sensitive PLA 🔥, this letter starts purple 💜, but as the hot extruder lays it down, it turns pink 💖! As the print cools ❄️, it slowly returns to purple 💜.

Today we’re moving on to the letter G in my 3D-printed, LEGO-compatible alphabet series 🧱✨.
I’m printing this in @Polymaker_3D Panchroma UV-shift—starting natural, but watch what happens when it hits the sun ☀️➡️🧡.
What should I use for letter H? 🤔
I just spotted a mistake in my wallet design 😬. Can you spot what I did wrong?
I was about to burnish some of the edges ✨ and that’s when I noticed it: a subtle design flaw 🧐. Which means I’ll have to recut a few pieces ✂️ and redo the dye 🎨.
Finishing the edges on my minimalist leather wallets ✨👜
These tricky spots can only be beveled after assembly 🛠️
I’m making 4 wallets total—coming to my store soon! 🛒🔥
I’m dyeing up some veg-tan leather in saddle brown for a new batch of my minimalist wallets 👜✨
Each piece here will become one of four handcrafted wallets I’ll be listing in my online store soon 🔨🤎
Simple, clean, and made to last. 💪🪵
Next in the LEGO-compatible alphabet is the letter F, printed in @GIANTARM3D Silk Gold. This filament has a smooth, metallic shine that really makes the letter pop. Drop a comment with the next brand or color I should try, and check the link in my bio for the full filament list!
Letter E is up next in my 3D-printed LEGO-compatible alphabet — printed with @amolentec Glow-in-the-Dark Blue! 💙✨
This filament has such a cool glow and shows the endless possibilities of what you can create.
What color or brand should I try for the next letter?
In this week’s shop recap 🧵🧱
I wrapped up my leather minimalist wallet — complete with saddle stitching, beveled edges, and a smooth burnished finish — and tackled the next letter in my LEGO-compatible 3D printed letter series!

🔚 Wrapping up the minimalist leather wallet build with one of my favorite parts — finishing the edges. ✨ After sanding them perfectly flush, I beveled the edges and burnished them smooth for that clean, professional look. 🪶
Hand-stitching this minimalist leather wallet using the classic saddle stitch 🪡 — simple, durable, and oddly satisfying. There’s something about slowing down and doing it by hand that just hits different. 👌
What should I make next in leather? 👇

In this episode of my LEGO-compatible letter series, we’ve got the D, printed in @esun3dfilament Pink PLA. This filament printed really nicely - smooth and bright! 💕
Check the link in my bio for all the filaments I’ve used, and drop a comment with what brand or color I use next!
This week I continued working on the wallet — doing some edge burnishing, applying a leather finish, and getting it glued up. I also kept going on the 3D printed LEGO-style letters… with a few fails along the way.

Getting the four pieces of this minimalist leather wallet stuck together 🪶
A little glue goes a long way — it keeps everything in place and makes stitching way easier later ✂️💪
Small steps like this are what make the finished wallet feel clean and solid.

Before stitching, it’s all about the edges 👇
Burnish the hidden spots smooth and seal with Fiebing’s Leather Sheen for that pro finish 🪶

Next up in my 3D-printed LEGO alphabet is C — printed in @Overture3D blue! 💙
And since C is for Cookie, this one’s got some serious Cookie Monster energy. 🍪
What color or filament should I use for D?
Next up in my 3D-printed LEGO ABCs: B!
Someone suggested glow-in-the-dark PLA, so here’s @Polymaker_3D Glow Green ✨
I’ve got lots more letters to go — comment your favorite brand or color for the next one!
