HOLY F*CK, 2 Grok Bot alerts and $43,532 banked...
i built a Chief Market Analyst on @bot.
then ICE, the company behind the NYSE, announces plans to bring Hyperliquid perps to the US.
30 seconds later, my bot sends a $HYPE long alert.
i enter.
then Stan Druckenmiller tweets that he’s backing trade[XYZ].
my bot flags the tweet. i sell into the hype and close the long.
$43,532 realized.
the headline was my entry. the billionaire’s tweet was my exit.
THANKS ELON.
I am excited to be an investor in trade(xyz) as they partner with ICE to bring 24/7 perpetual futures on Hyperliquid to the United States. As a market participant, I am looking forward to to using their innovative product to enhance my investment process.
HOLY F*CK, Grok bot is our chief market analyst.
i don't use Bloomberg anymore. THANKS ELON!
i didn't hire anyone. i set up a Grok bot on @bot and gave it a title: chief market analyst.
last week, it went through 30 earnings reports, flagged two risks in my portfolio, and found a company I'd completely missed.
all before I opened my laptop.
since setting it up:
→ my portfolio is up 12% in 3 months.
→ research time dropped by 70%.
→ i'm getting back 10+ hours a week.
→ less cash sitting idle, more dividend income reinvested.
here's what it actually does every week:
→ scans @Reuters, SEC filings, and earnings calls.
→ flags unusual price moves and volume on TradingView.
→ tracks earnings, inflation releases, and @federalreserve meetings.
→ summarizes news affecting my portfolio each morning.
it's not magic. sometimes it mistakes an old headline for new information. sometimes the thesis falls apart when i check the filing.
i tell it to go back and do the work.
i used to spend hours finding something worth looking at.
now I open a brief and decide what deserves a closer look.
HOLY F*CK, ELON MUSK’S GROK BOT WROTE 63 EMAIL DRAFTS WHILE I SLEPT.
the number that sold me was 0.
my one rule before bed: do the work. Send nothing without my yes.
at 7am:
→ 63 drafts, oldest unanswered threads first
→ 3 urgent threads, each with a reason
→ 2 meetings to drop, with context
→ 1 invoice reply, amount left blank
→ 0 messages sent
over coffee, i approved 41 in 20 minutes, rewrote 9 and deleted the rest. that used to eat two hours of my morning.
Elon said to treat it like a super competent hire. I’d never let a new employee email my clients on day one either.
chief of staff pulls from Slack, email, calendar and meeting notes. it’s one of 56 ready jobs.
pick one. give it the night shift.
HOLY F*CK, YOUR NEXT PAYDAY MIGHT ALREADY BE BURIED IN YOUR INBOX.
here are 5 jobs i’d give Grok Bot:
1. FIND FORGOTTEN LEADS
Scan the last 30 days for people who asked about working together. Draft a reply that picks up where we stopped.
2. CHASE QUIET PROPOSALS
Find every “we’ll get back to you” that went nowhere. Prepare a follow-up with a clear next step.
3. FLAG UNRESOLVED INVOICES
Match invoice threads with payment confirmations. Flag unclear cases for me to check before drafting a reminder.
4. CATCH UPCOMING RENEWALS
Surface subscription renewal dates, prices and cancellation instructions before another charge slips through.
5. RECONNECT WITH PAST CLIENTS
Find clients who mentioned a future project. Draft a check-in using their actual timeline and context.
every Monday: one ranked list, original threads and drafts ready to review.
nothing sends without my approval.

HOLY F*CK, Elon Musk's team just shared 146 Grok Bot templates, and it's free.
56 official workflows + 90 marketplace bots.
pick the work you want off your plate:
→ sales: research prospects and draft follow-ups

the starting instructions are already written. you bring your tools, context and the first assignment.
running them still uses your Grok Bot plan and usage allowance.

HOLY SH*T, your Grok bots might be burning money.
the setup i'd use:
1 router + 4 specialists. events arrive, the router filters, and only the right agent wakes up.
the polling math is brutal:
every 5 minutes = 8,640 checks/month.
hourly = 720.
at the same assumed cost per check, that’s roughly $397 vs $33 — 12× the spend.
→ webhooks, Slack, GitHub and email enter one queue → duplicates and irrelevant updates stop at the router → triage, fixer, reviewer and writer only get actual work → risky actions become drafts or approval requests before anything goes live
event-driven agents don’t need to keep asking "anything new?".
give them a trigger, a narrow job and a clear stop rule.
