I literally interview my doctors on the first visit. I say this:
1. I do not take vaccines of any kind; do not ever ask me if I want even a flu shot.
2. I do not have mammograms, bone density tests, skin cancer screening, or any other tests. If I have an issue, you will hear from me.
3. I take NP Thyroid for Hashimoto's. It is non-synthetic, and I have been taking it for over 10 years. DO NOT ask me to switch to ANY OTHER DRUG.

After those statements are made, I ask whether they still want to be my doctor and whether they will respect my boundaries. If the answer is yes, we are all good.
