On This Day — July 16, 1919

Ukrainian neighbors turned on the Jews with axes and swords.

In the small town of Slovechna, Jews and Christians had lived side by side for generations sharing courtyards and gardens. Their children played together.

Marko Lukhtans, a local who had fought the Germans in the Great War, would laugh when “Jewish geese” wandered into his yard or when the kids picked cherries from his trees. “So what do you care about the little Jews?” he’d say.

But on July 16, 1919, Lukhtans picked up a revolver and a saber and began massacring his Jewish neighbors.

Led by a 19-year-old local warlord named Kosenko, who spread rumors that the Jews were planning to close churches and execute priests, a mob descended on the town.

They smashed windows, looted homes with wheelbarrows and sacks, and killed with intimate brutality, including the use of axes, pitchforks, and sabers. Entire families were cut down in their homes.

The violence was personal. The killers were classmates, customers, childhood friends, and longtime neighbors.

This was but one of thousands of violent pogroms against Jews in the Pale of Settlement in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The worst and most barbaric massacres took place during the Russian Civil War and the years surrounding it.

Tens of thousands of Jews were murdered in the most horrific ways imaginable. Neighbors turned on neighbors. Entire communities that had coexisted for generations were slaughtered.

The message was clear: Jews in Eastern Europe were scattered, defenseless sitting ducks at the mercy of whoever held power at any given moment.

It was this wave of unimaginable violence that helped drive the urgent Zionist call for a Jewish homeland in the Land of Israel. A refuge and a place where Jews could finally defend themselves rather than wait for the next pogrom.

The reestablishment of the State of Israel came too late for the Jews of Slovechna.

But today, Israel is here and Israel is strong. Never again must Jews rely solely on the goodwill of their neighbors just to live.

Has anybody thought about how much money we’re unknowingly spending to have Islamists come to our countries and conquer us?

International aid.

Almost every Western nation sends aid to Gaza as well as Judea and Samaria. Add to that the amount sent to UNRWA. These monies come out of the taxes we pay to our governments, and at least some of that money ends up in the hands of Hamas and other terrorist organizations.

Immigration.

How much do our countries spend each year on immigration of radical Muslims? The cost to do screening and costs of adjudicating requests are just a tip of the iceberg. Then there’s all of the costs when they get here. Welfare. Housing. Healthcare. Other social services. Childcare. Child benefits. They know how to work our systems. They know how to milk our social services for every penny possible. More of our tax dollars supporting domestic terrorists.

Oil.

How dependent are we on oil? Our vehicles. Air travel. Delivery every time we order something. Heating our homes. More of our money going to pay for Islamists to take over countries, funneled through the Middle East countries we purchase oil from.

Organizations.

Organizations such as unions we pay dues to, provide support both financially and otherwise for the Free Palestine movement, UNRWA and others.

Charities.

Charities we donate to who are providing support, including Doctors Without Borders and the UN.

It’s bad enough they’re using Western laws and policies against us.

But they’ve also figured out a way for us to finance their intifada as well. How much of the tax dollars spent in your country ends up somehow financing or enabling the Islamic Regime? How much of your take home pay is being used to destroy the very society and civilization that you cherish?

And why have our governments not yet stopped it?

Australia is being told to view the proposed merger of superannuation and Centrelink as a bold reform; a modernisation of retirement policy, a streamlining of welfare, a clever administrative fix. But that framing is the sugar‑coating. The reality underneath is far more consequential and far more dangerous for ordinary Australians.
Superannuation isn’t just a single pool of money held by a handful of large funds. It includes every pension scheme in the country: police, firefighters, ambulance officers, teachers, public servants; the backbone of Australia’s essential workforce. All of these funds sit under the same legislative umbrella. And once they are folded into a Centrelink‑controlled system, the government gains something it has never had before: direct access to the retirement savings of millions of Australians.
This proposal is not about efficiency. It is not about modernisation. It is about access: access to money that was never the government's to touch.
Under the model being floated, Centrelink would determine how much of your own savings you are permitted to withdraw. The ATO would automatically apply taxes before you ever see the money. And at the end of the financial year, you would be left to claw back whatever portion the system decides you’re entitled to reclaim. The independence Australians have always had over their retirement savings would evaporate.
Worse still, your home, the equity you’ve spent decades building, becomes another variable in the welfare equation. A private asset becomes a public lever.
And what does this unlock for the government?
A vast reservoir of funds that can be quietly redirected into immigration programs, housing schemes, and support for new arrivals, all without raising taxes or justifying new spending to voters. It is a redistribution pipeline disguised as “retirement reform.”
This is not the Australian Dream. It is Labor’s version of it; a version where your lifetime savings, your pension, and even your home are repurposed as tools for government policy rather than assets you control.
Australians deserve a retirement system that protects their independence, not one that absorbs their hard‑earned savings into bureaucracy. They deserve transparency, not a structural overhaul that masks fiscal opportunism behind the language of reform. And they deserve a government that respects the boundary between public welfare and private retirement, a boundary that exists for a reason. And, potentially, opens the door to another untapped resource, annual personal property taxes.
The stakes are enormous. This proposal isn’t just a policy shift. It’s a redefinition of ownership, responsibility, and the social contract itself.
The question to voters is this: Will you vote for Labor and allow this to happen, and if they do force through these communist laws, seize your superannuation, and give it to Centerlink to distribute, what will you do about it?

Sinwar’s delusions were matched only by his ignorance: Israel does not need nuclear weapons to inflict devastating harm on Gaza. Yet Hamas deliberately launched an intentionally genocidal assault, predicting, and banking on, an Israeli survival response that would devastate Gaza and then be weaponized for global sympathy. In doing so, Hamas sacrificed 2.3 million Palestinians for a propaganda strategy.

This alone should compel the immediate, unconditional, and unequivocal rejection of Hamas by anyone claiming to support Palestinian rights. It should erase any doubt that Islamist extremists pose an existential threat to Palestinian survival, freedom, and the possibility of building a society not dragged into wars its rulers knowingly design to be catastrophic. When you are the weaker party facing the most far‑right government in Israel’s history, your obligation is to safeguard your people, not gamble their lives on apocalyptic fantasies. Hamas’s failure to do so is a betrayal worthy of absolute condemnation. It forfeits any Hamas claim to political relevance and demands that those responsible for October 7 be treated as traitors and murderers of their own people.

Here’s what they don’t want you to connect:

- Kennedy was assassinated 2.5 years after this speech

- The Warren Commission was a joke — even the House Select Committee on Assassinations in 1979 concluded Kennedy was “probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy”

- The files are STILL classified

- Trump has been pushing to release them, but the permanent national security state refuses, instead slow-walking the order

The timing isn’t random. This isn’t just history. JFK described a permanent national security state that has only grown more entrenched — one that operates beyond elections, beyond accountability, beyond the reach of voters.

Kennedy called it “a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific, and political operations.”

That machine didn’t disappear when he died. It got even stronger.
