This evening, 21 worked with our probationary firefighters preparing them for their upcoming FF1 Proboard. The crew worked on refilling SCBA cylinders, air quality monitoring, salvage and overhaul and hose line packing and advancement.

Tuesday night @ctvfc21 and @adamsarea42 met up and covered a few fire ground tasks at houses that were scheduled for demolition The crews worked on vertical ventilation, VEIS, and hose line advancements of flowing while moving. We expect to have these houses for a few more weeks.

Yesterday evening, our crew spent some time going over some vehicle rescue skills including door removal, side removal and roof removal.

C42 & C42-2 arrived on scene with heavy fire, followed immediately by T21 and E21-2. Truck crew split, with the inside crew performing primary search and fire control with a PW and outside truck laddering the structure and venting the roof. Engine crews deployed the 300’ and 200’

They have one more hurdle, the Fire fighter 1 certification, before they are interior firefighters.

R21, E21, and Fire Police responded to a vehicle into a structure along Route 19 earlier this afternoon. Luckily, no vehicle passengers nor patrons in the storefront were injured. Special thanks to the Marines next door for assisting with cleanup!

The entry level program was working on firefighter survival and we are also hosting our first proboard driver operator for engine and aerial.
We have several new recruits in the entry level program as well as our instructors from Cranberry teaching it.

Vehicle Fire - Getgo 228
Cranberry police arrived first and confirmed a working vehicle fire in close proximity to the building. The assignment was upgraded to a structure response in an abundance of caution. Engine 21 arrived on scene and made a quick knock on the fire.
