Public speaking is actually really easy if you don’t respect a single soul in that room. I’ve had an incredibly easy time delivering speeches when I hated everybody I saw and they all thought I did amazing bc my disdain was read as confidence ( this is not a tip though )
Overall terrible list. 16/17 isnt top 3. 12/13 is way too low. One of the Juve seasons deserve tier 4 imo. But the biggest crime of this list is without a doubt 08/09 that high. It doesnt deserve to be above any of the other seasons.
Remember when a large portion of this fanbase sided with Harry Amass and Chido Obi against the manager?
They side with kids over managers, then act surprised when players don’t work hard on the pitch… what else do you expect?
This fanbase has enabled this culture of entitlement for years. Players don’t respect managers and this is what you get.
I follow this dude on IG who’s a stay at home dad and cooks a bunch of shit and a bunch of stay at home moms get so mad at him because he talks about how easy it is for him lol
Social Security works when Grandma dies at 67 and each set of parents has 4 kids. It doesn't work when the largest generation retires and lives to 80+ after having 2 kids and an aborted granddaughter.
On average, Boomers are getting paid more from Social Security than they “paid into it.” A lot more. Like double, and that’s counting inflation and interest. In raw dollars, they’ll get four to seven times what they paid in. So what about this compromise, to at least stave off insolvency and save billions: you get back what you paid in, but no more. Young families won’t be forced to finance a 250 percent return on your “investment.” That seems extremely reasonable, doesn’t it? It doesn’t go nearly as far as I would like. But it’s a very fair compromise. It completely negates any claim that you didn’t get the money back that you “paid in.” And yet I suspect that this comprise will not be satisfactory. Why is that? Because this debate actually has nothing to do with “getting back what you paid in.” The REAL demand is for a lot more than that.
Rating Ronaldo is a bell curve. Casuals think he’s GOAT tier, middle ground of twitter users and people who hate him who try to downplay his skill, then people who’ve watched a lot of the sport will come to the same conclusion the casuals did
When you’re in your 20s you hit the adult world and there’s no age grouping anymore. You will make friends with coworkers the same age as your parents lol
There is actually no "woman problem" if you find a way to deal with guys like this
The fact that 50+% of men functionally hold this opinion is responsible for basically everything wrong with the country
May be the most significant interview of the year.
Peter Thiel is openly calling Trump's cabinet "not very smart but very loyal people." He doesn't fear Trump. He expects Dems to win the midterms. He thinks Vance or Rubio would "struggle" in 2028. This is the man who funded Vance's Senate campaign, and helped select Trump's political appointees. An insider is walking out.
When someone like Thiel says this publicly, it is a signal to the donor class: the trade is over. The upside has been captured. Get out before the midterms. Every tech oligarch who followed Thiel into the MAGA orbit now could follow him out, except may be Elon.
Vance is the biggest casualty. His political godfather just publicly hedged against him. Vance cannot criticize Trump because the MAGA base is all he has. He cannot embrace Trump's wars and corruption because normie voters are leaving. He is trying to hold the Groyper base together while the donor class, the suburbs, and the moderates walk away. His prospects look way bleaker than Kamala's did when she entered 2024.
Thiel has always been better at reading structural shifts than sentiment. In 2016, he saw Trump could win when everyone laughed. In 2026, he sees the project has hit its ceiling. He is not leaving on principle but because the returns could turn negative.
