We are pleased to share that Joseph William Manga, CUBE’s Programs Manager, will be presenting at eLearning Africa 2026 in Accra.
Joseph will present on the CUBE Mobile STEAM Lab as a Youth-Led Innovation in EdTech.
#eLearningAfrica2026#CUBE#STEAMEducation#EdTech
His presentation will contribute to conversations on youth-led innovation, STEAM education, and the role of technology in expanding learning opportunities for underserved communities.
The session also introduced students to women whose work in mathematics and science has contributed to areas such as space exploration and GPS technology, including Katherine Johnson, Mae Jemison, and Gladys West.
The session brought together students from Grades 5 & 6 for a learning activity focused on strengthening confidence in maths and encouraging early interest in STEM education.
As part of the engagement, students took part in a quiz on numbers, shapes, patterns, and logic.
The session also introduced students to the philosophy of unconditional giving and encouraged discussions around peer support, aspirations and positive community action.
As part of the activity, educational materials, including exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners, were distributed to 60 students to support their learning journey.
Feedback and usage data will be collected during the pilot period to inform improvements to the system.
This pilot is supported by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE) and participating school administrations.
On May 6th, 2026, CUBE celebrated Global AI Adoption Day onboarding the final cohort of our 150-student AI Tutor pilot at Charles Jow Memorial Academy.

Across all three cohorts, students were introduced to the platform, guided through installation, and added to structured pilot groups for follow-up.
The pilot includes a two-month testing period during which students will use the platform alongside their regular learning.
Hidden Figures follows three women mathematicians behind early U.S. space missions.

At #WACREN2026, one thing was clear:
Africa is building its digital future. Digital sovereignty isn’t just about access, it’s about who builds the systems.
With GAMREN launched, The Gambia takes a step forward. Youth must be part of what comes next.
