Every buy moves the clock forward, every sell pulls it back, and crossing an hour triggers a new on-chain action
KUKU is expanding the clock
The next major update introduces SYNC CHIME — a second, faster-moving hand that tracks short-term market activity alongside the main 12-hour clock.
The main hand still controls the core cycle. It moves through the hour states, triggers rewards, prepares liquidity, changes gears, and eventually reaches the burn
The new hand works differently. It reacts faster, building its own short-term position from recent activity.
When both hands enter the same predefined on-chain window at the same time, the protocol enters SYNC CHIME
This is not a normal hour event
SYNC CHIME is a rare alignment state that can amplify whatever the clock is already doing — a stronger reward event, additional burn pressure, a larger liquidity action, or a temporary special gear
The main clock controls the long-term cycle, while the new SYNC hand reacts to short bursts of market activity
When both layers align, KUKU enters a temporary SYNC CHIME state that can strengthen the current hour action before the mechanism returns to normal
The important part is that the alignment comes from market behavior itself — not from a manual trigger
Every trade leaves a mechanical trace. The clock moves, the active state changes, and the next hour can behave differently because of what happened before
KUKU doesn’t reset after every swap. The hook keeps persistent state, so market activity continuously reshapes the same on-chain machine
The SPRING is what powers the protocol. As activity accumulates inside it, future clock actions can use that reserve for rewards, liquidity, and burn events
Some hours change the speed of the clock, some reverse direction, and others prepare larger actions later in the cycle. The mechanism is designed so each state affects what comes next
CLOCK MEMORY makes previous cycles matter. Forward pressure, reversals, and SPRING behavior can now leave a state that carries into the next cycle
The core idea stays simple: the market moves the clock, the clock changes state, and state changes what the protocol does next
Every eligible swap moves the same on-chain clock, and every crossed hour can change how the mechanism behaves next. With CLOCK MEMORY, completed cycles can now leave state behind, so future clock behavior is shaped by what the market already did
The current mechanism is only the first stage. We’re already working on larger updates that will expand how the clock reacts to market activity, deepen the SPRING system, and introduce new on-chain states and interactions around rewards, liquidity, and cycle behavior
The goal is simple: keep the protocol evolving without breaking the core idea that made KUKU different in the first place
New mechanics are being tested, new clock behavior is being designed, and more functionality will be added step by step
Kuku Dex Update
To receive a CUCKOO REWARD, you need to be the wallet whose swap actually pushes the clock across the reward hour
At 3:00, the protocol records the address that triggered the crossing and assigns the reward from the SPRING automatically. Crossing the same reward hour again in the same cycle does not create a second payout
Cuckoo Clock is built around @uniswap v4, not just traded on it
Every swap through the KUKU/ETH pool becomes an input for the on-chain clock: buys move the hand forward, sells move it back, and hour crossings trigger new protocol states and actions

When the hand reaches the right state, the protocol unlocks the corresponding reward logic and pays it directly from the spring - automatically, on-chain, and without manual team action
$KUKU is built around a mechanism that actually reacts to trading, not around empty promises
Every eligible swap moves the on-chain clock, every crossed hour changes its state, and the SPRING powers real actions like rewards, liquidity, and burns
https://t.co/SrKPK4OXyy
That means the market can move the clock in both directions without turning rewards, burns, or liquidity actions into something that can be farmed repeatedly
The clock remembers every hour it has already used during the current cycle
If trading pushes the hand back across the same hour again, the crossing is recorded as a REVISIT, but the economic action cannot fire twice
