The day is nearly upon us, the last game as junior cuckoos and it doesn’t get bigger, this Saturday we play in the Dragons Cup final at @ Rodney Parade against @abergavennyrugby16s. The boys have trained well and are an excited by the challenge ahead. Come and support the lads

Cup final here we come… On Sunday the young cuckoos progressed to the Dragons cup final after a battling performance against @nhsob 16s. A nail biting contest between two solid, tough teams made for a cracking game in front of a fantastic crowd at Ystrad.

Sunday the young cuckoos travel the short distance to COSE for the cup semi final. The final year of Dragons cup action as we take on our old friends @NHSOB16s. It would be great for you to come and support the boys as we reach the final stretch of junior rugby.

Great Sunday at the stores field as @CuckoosRisca welcomed @chichester_rfc_colts who were on tour. Both sides gave their all in an enthralling contest in front of our brave supporters given the weather. Customary post match entertainment between made it a fantastic afternoon.

A desperately unlucky #youngcuckoos played their part in a fantastic, physical, edge of your seat game yesterday at Waunfawr.A great advert for grassroots rugby. Defence was the order of the day in this tight encounter. The result didn’t go the way we wanted but we will move on.

Great to get finally get a game in. We travelled to @OldTyleryanRFC for a home fixture and welcomed Caerphilly 16s. A depleted squad and poor discipline made hard work against a well drilled Caerphilly 16s side. The #youngcukoos getting the W, 38-24
