@memeslich I think putting a fierce enemy but placing a way to defeat him in an un convencional way or letting them run away on the first session IS a way to keep them engaging without making seem the enemy weak and moving the story about a mayor threat and keep the players thinking "damn"
With people who dont play AND give an opinion about It, this means you the creators MIGHT change something in favour of these people who wouldnt engage anyways, with the chance of people who actually do being pushed away.
Thats why the bait works.
