I know this segment is a reason many dislike The Last of Us Part II, but for me it's special, and one of the most impactful set of sequences in gaming.

The build up, tension, dread, fear, shock, horror, sadness and anger. Straight gut punches of emotion.

The closest any game has gotten to a Game of Thrones 'Red Wedding' style moment. And a sequence that sets the mood and tone for the entire rest of the game.
