Claudia Goldin addresses the challenges facing modern women. Her research illustrates how and why gender differences in earnings and employment rates have changed over time in the United States. She explains this pattern as the result of structural change and evolving social norms regarding women’s responsibilities for home and family.

Goldin was awarded the 2023 prize in economic sciences for having advanced our understanding of women's labour market outcomes.

We’re building the next-generation pipeline for tissue clearing + light-sheet microscopy + quantitative 3D analysis in the SyNergy Excellence Cluster (Mesoscale Hub) and we’re looking for someone excited to push this forward with us. 🧠🔬📈

What you’ll do 🛠️

🔹 Lead and evolve tissue clearing + light-sheet workflows across collaborative SyNergy projects
🔹 Turn complex 3D datasets into robust quantitative insights (visualization, atlas registration, readouts)
🔹 Develop new methods and analysis pipelines together with our AI team 🤖
🔹 Maintain and optimize cutting-edge light-sheet systems (optional: support animal license writing)

What we’re looking for 🎯

✅ Strong hands-on experience in tissue clearing and/or fluorescence microscopy
✅ Solid experience with light-sheet microscopy and 3D imaging workflows
✅ Familiarity with 3D tools like Imaris / arivis Vision4D, stitching (e.g., BigStitcher), and quantitative analysis in cleared tissues
✅ Service mindset, great organization, and strong scientific English

La @FundIsabelGemio ha firmado 3 nuevos convenios de investigación entre los que se encuentra un proyecto del @CNIC_CARDIO, seleccionado entre más de 100 solicitudes: “Identificación y caracterización de factores clave en la progresión de malformaciones arteriovenosas”, liderado por @CuervoLab.

➡️ El objetivo del proyecto es entender los mecanismos genéticos y celulares para mejorar el diagnóstico y avanzar hacia tratamientos más seguros y personalizados.
