I’m a little disappointed at PKMN Violet ‘cause it had so much potential, specially with the little winks at OG pkmn games, but at the end it just feels like they forced a lot of mechanisms to seem modern, but were ultimately subpar to previous gens.

I just dont understand how the hype they built with the trailers translated into this gameplay.

Anyways, I really enjoyed having 3 separate storylines to mix and match with. That was the highlight of the game for me. I enjoyed it even with all its flaws.
