Watching people you know try and talk politics on Facebook is like watching someone try and do karaoke and they don’t know the words. At least in the karaoke bar you might be drunk.
This random stranger I don’t know stood up for me in my comments now I have to pledge my allegiance to her and like every piece of content she posts for the rest of my life.
Got surgery one my eyes (nothing serious but I couldn’t see) and got so many thoughtful messages asking how I was post op and my replies were all “googd but I ca mt see mt phone reakkly talk to you tomorrow” because I appreciate my people but also hate worry anyone
I’m not married and therefore do not have a dowry holder. My dad is no longer with us. Will I be required to ask my eldest brother for permission to whiten my teeth when the time comes or do I ask the president?
Is there a term for the attempt at humor that is just always making fun of someone? Also who is laughing at these jokes. I’ve never even once cracked a smile at this “style of humor” it’s just lazy and frankly unintelligent. Facebook I’m looking at you.
When I post on my story ideally only like 2-3 people reply. That way I know it’s relatable/good. Any more than that stresses me out. Now I’ve given myself homework in replying thoughtfully back to everyone. As if they’re going to compare responses to make sure I didn’t copy paste
